Visit the Sycamore Wood and follow the trails.

Visit the tall and shady Sycamore Wood. Woodland walks have be created in the Sycamore Wood, either take the buggy and wheechair friendly walk or a slightly more robust route deeper into the wood.

Informative education boards have been erected along the routes to relate information about trees and wild flowers. Although The wood is predominantly sycamore you can also see varieties of oak, spruces and pines, ash and hawthorn. Adjoining the wood is a smaller Alder Wood.
